Reaffirming its socially responsible orientation in supporting vulnerable groups, on November 2017 IronFX attended as a Bronze sponsor the ‘Cyprus Association of Individuals with Clefts & Craniofacial Anomalies, Chrysalida’ fundraising event, of Dr. Zoe Nikolaou. All net proceeds were donated to “Chrysalida” for the psychological and economical support of families of children with clefts and other craniofacial anomalies.
IronFX is offering practical support to the Independent Social Support Body by actively helping students in financial difficulty. The body is committed to providing financial aid to individuals who face difficulties in continuing their university education. The Independent Social Support Body is an initiative of the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Mrs. Andri Anastasiades.
On Sunday, November 6th 2017, IronFX participated as a Bronze Sponsor in the Foundation’s main fund-raising event; the 9th annual charity walk “I’d Rather Walk, Than Drink and Drive”, in Limassol. Defying the difficult weather conditions, dozens of IronFX staff members joined other volunteers and walked for the cause.
Held every November, the event’s aim is to make a difference by preventing further accidents and fatalities caused by people driving under the influence of alcohol. The majority of the funds were allocated to specialized educational and clinical programmes.
IronFX was delighted to sponsor the 2016 Cycling Tour organised by the Theotokos Foundation.
This sports initiative that took place on the weekend of 7th – 9th of October, was aimed at helping the Theotokos Foundation raise the funds, create awareness and gather support for people with mental disabilities.
The Theotokos Cycling Tour 2016 was completed last Sunday, 9 October 2016 with the arrival of our cyclists at the Limassol Municipal Garden.
All cyclists were honored to be welcomed by Ms Andri Anastasiades, spouse of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nicos Anastasiades.
IronFX is delighted to announce that the IronFX Yacht has deservingly represented Cyprus and has ranked seventh (AB Class) in the renowned 2016 ORC European Championship, which took place from Sunday July 3 to Sunday July 10, 2016.
The IronFX Yacht represented Cyprus and participated in the International regatta “North Aegean Cup 2016”, from Thursday June 30th to Sunday July 3, 2016, and competed against yachts from all over the world (Italy, Greece, Russia, United States, Israel, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia and Ukraine etc).

The ORC European Championship 2016 was organized by the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki under the authority of the Hellenic Sailing Federation and under the overall authority of the Offshore Racing Congress (ORC).
IronFX has made a generous donation to the Red Cross Hungary in order to help with the costs of running of a blood donation mobile facility.
The annual plan of the Hungarian Red Cross identifies blood donor recruitment as a major priority. With the Red Cross reliant upon donations and volunteers for its operations, financial assistance is crucial. The money donated by IronFX will help towards the running of the blood donation facility which will serve as a mobile unit, reaching blood donors throughout Hungary.
IronFX is a steadfast supporter of the Red Cross in Hungary and Internationally. In 2013 the Company helped with the cost of emergency evacuations and expenses for blankets, first aid and food for disaster victims of the Budapest floods. The company has received certificates of appreciation for its Red Cross donations globally, including Serbia for flood-relief, and Cyprus.
21 September, 2014, Cyprus – The IOANNIDEIA racing event, named in memory of Andreas Ioannides, featured a full programme of races including a sailing regatta, as well as rowing and kayak competitions and swimming races. The day’s events were hosted at the Famagusta Nautical Club (Ναυτικός Όμιλος Αμμοχώστου or NOA), and were attended by local dignitaries including the Cyprus Minister for Defence, along with senior members of IronFX. The day’s events were followed by a prize-giving ceremony for the competition winners, and a formal dinner.

4, September 2014, Limassol Cyprus – The IronFX Charitable Foundation has announced that it has made a donation to the Yunnan Charity Foundation to assist with earthquake relief efforts in Yunnan Province.
The earthquake struck Ludian county on 3 August with a magnitude of 6.1 and killed at least 617 people, injuring at least 2,400 others. According to the South China Morning Post, the tremors were felt in several cities in Yunnan Province, extending to the neighbouring provinces of Sichuan and Shaanxi.
