On 29 March 2015 the President of the Republic of Cyprus H.E. Nikos Anastasiades inaugurated a public park located adjacent to the IronFX Global Headquarters in Limassol.
Donated by IronFX Global as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the park – named Grigoris Afxentiou Public Park – also features a statue which is symbolic of Cyprus’s efforts towards self-determination during the time of British rule. The statue was unveiled by the President of the Republic of Cyprus H.E. Nicos Anastasiades, the Mayor of Agios Athanasios (Limassol) Mr. Kyriakos Hadjittofis, CEO & Chairman of IronFX Global Markos Kashiouris, and Co-Founder & Board Member of IronFX Global Petros Economides.
The unveiling ceremony took place in the presence of IronFX Global senior management, along with important local dignitaries including Bishop Nikolaos of Amathundos and Chief of the National Guard, General Lieutenant Georgios Mpasiakoulis, as well as members of the
Agios Athanasios choir who sang a repertoire of traditional songs in honour of the occasion.
